Derek Ocheng is a Researcher at OPHI where he contributes annually to the computations of the global Multidimensional Poverty Index. He also works in outreach, training governments in how to build Multidimensional Poverty Indices (MPIs). Derek also works as an independent researcher on the topics of sustainable and inclusive growth and shared prosperity. Derek has worked in policy research roles including with the London School of Economics (IGC) and the Rwanda National Statistical Office (NSO).
