Agustín has contributed to the computation of the global Multidimensional Poverty Index (global MPI) since 2017 and has collaborated with other OPHI projects such as Changes over Time. Previously, he has worked in different government agencies at national and local levels in Argentina and as a university professor of statistics and economics. He is currently also working as a Research Assistant in the field of health economics, investigating tobacco control policies in Latin America, and inequalities and social determinants of health.
