Reflections on the first global MPI: Brian Nolan, 2010

Before the MPI was launched in 2010, OPHI held a research workshop with leading academics working on poverty measurement. OPHI’s Sabina Alkire and Maria Emma Santos presented the draft MPI results, which were thoroughly scrutinized and discussed by the group, and which aided in the final release of the measure. The interviews below capture some of the participants’ comments on 15 June 2010.
