Melisa Idris takes a closer look at the challenges in measuring the inequalities in human development. She sits down with Professor Sabina Alkire, Director of the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative, a research centre in the Department of International Development at the University of Oxford. She, along with James Foster, developed the ‘Alkire-Foster Method’ for measuring multi-dimensional poverty.
