UN General Assembly Side Event 2021

This high-level virtual event, organized by the Multidimensional Poverty Peer Network (MPPN) and co-hosted by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), is a two hour-long dynamic discussion. Speakers are high-level representatives of governments and international organizations. They are key actors in the need of the hour: to ensure that, during COVID-19 recovery, high-impact and integrated policies drawing on the MPIs are used in the hands of policy actors to drive back interlinked deprivations, so a more equitable future gathers momentum.
