About OPHI - helping governments reduce poverty

An innovative method for measuring multidimensional poverty, developed by Dr Sabina Alkire and colleagues, is helping governments and organisations globally to design more effective poverty-reduction programmes. Dr Sabina Alkire is winner of the 'Outstanding International Impact' category of the ESRC Celebrating Impact Prize 2014.
The ESRC Celebrating Impact Prize recognises and rewards the successes of ESRC-funded researchers achieving outstanding economic and societal impacts.
