OPHI at UNGA 79 this week
The 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly takes place in New York this week. World leaders will participate in the annual high-level General Debate entitled, "Leaving no one behind: acting together for the advancement of peace, sustainable development and human dignity for present and future generations”. The purpose is for Heads of State and Government and ministers to explore solutions to intertwined global challenges to advance peace, security, and sustainable development.
'Sustainable and Targeted Poverty Solutions: Using the Multidimensional Poverty Index', 24 September
During this week, we are looking forward to our Side Meeting 'Sustainable and Targeted Poverty Solutions: Using the Multidimensional Poverty Index' co-hosted by the Federal Republic of Somalia and the MPPN. The Side Meeting takes place on Tuesday 24 September at 11-13:00 EDT, Conference Room 2, UN Headquarters, New York.

Tshering Tobgay, the Prime Minister of the Royal Kingdom of Bhutan and Pedro Conceição, Director of the Human Development Report Office, UNDP, on Wednesday 25 September at 15:30-15:50 EDT.
