OECD’s Hildegard Lingnau blogs on proposals for post-2015 agenda
Hildegard Lingnau, Senior Counsellor in the Development Cooperation Directorate at the OECD, has blogged on considerations that are necessary for the establishment of new post-2015 goals.
Based on reports published by the United Nations and the discussions of the High-level Panel (HLP) report, she emphasizes the need for a single agenda, a broadening of the definition of poverty as suggested by the Multidimensional Poverty Peer Network (MPPN) and greater policy space for individual countries .
‘Never before have we been so certain of the complexity of setting effective, inclusive and balanced global goals. But never before have we also had the knowledge of what does – and does not – work,’ she writes in the full blog post available to read at The Broker here.
