New issue of Dimensions is out

The April issue of Dimensions is out! This magazine is produced by the Multidimensional Poverty Peer Network (MPPN) for readers interested in multidimensional poverty. The MPPN provides south-south dialogue, capacity building and access to a repository of experiences and lessons learned about measuring multidimensional poverty. Featured in this issue are:

• An interview by the Director of OPHI, Sabina Alkire, with former President of Colombia and Nobel Peace Prize winner, Juan Manuel Santos, on the reasons that led him to create the Colombian Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) and how it was used to improve the efficiency of social policies
• A special section on the 2018 global MPI, in which the Nobel Prize laureate in economics, Sir Angus Deaton, discusses conceptualising poverty
