MPPN Dialogues: Incorporating MPI variables into National Censuses

This webinar is part of the MPPN Dialogues series. Exclusively for MPPN participants, it will include presentations from high-level representatives from national statistics​ offices on the successful incorporation of MPI variables into national censuses. The session will provide regional examples of how to leverage the MPI, and highlight its use as a powerful policy tool using census data. Q&A will follow the presentations.

This year we are excited to introduce the 'MPPN Dialogues' a new knowledge exchange space organised by the MPPN and OPHI that will engage countries and international organisations in reflections about the technical and policy issues around the use of Multidimensional Poverty Indices. It aims to learn from countries' and organisations’ experiences and innovative solutions to incorporate the MPI into census data, develop engaging cross-stakeholder communication strategies, and advocate for its use as a key policy tool.
