MPPN Dialogues: Communication and Engagement Strategies for the MPI

This webinar is part of the MPPN Dialogues series. Open to the public, this webinar will discuss how to effectively communicate and engage stakeholders throughout the process of developing and using an MPI. To ensure a sustained and effective planning and implementation of the MPI all stakeholders should be engaged via a comprehensive communication strategy. This discussion will address some challenges and innovative solutions experienced by national teams when launching and implementing the national MPI.

This year we are excited to introduce the 'MPPN Dialogues' a new knowledge exchange space organised by the MPPN and OPHI that will engage countries and international organisations in reflections about the technical and policy issues around the use of Multidimensional Poverty Indices. It aims to learn from countries' and organisations’ experiences and innovative solutions to incorporate the MPI into census data, develop engaging cross-stakeholder communication strategies, and advocate for its use as a key policy tool.
