Armenia – Poverty Snapshot over 2020–2023
The Armenian national measure for multidimensional poverty was launched in 2016 by the National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia (ARMSTAT). In November 2024, the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia published their annual Social Snapshot and Poverty in Armenia report. This report includes results from the Armenian national measure for multidimensional poverty, based on the Integrated Living Conditions Survey 2023.
Armenia’s national MPI is made up of five dimensions:
1) Basic needs
2) Housing
3) Education
4) Labour
5) Health
