Rolando is a Consultant for OPHI working on the Global Multidimensional Poverty Index (global MPI) and Changes over Time projects. He creates data visualizations of multidimensional poverty. 

He is also currently a post-doctoral researcher on data intensive research on SARS-CoV2 at the Center for Advanced Systems Understanding at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf in Germany. 

He has worked as a part-time Deputy Manager in the Risk Division of BCP Bank (CrediCorp), and consulted for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the University of Groningen (Netherlands).
