Applications are invited for the PEP-Laval Intensive Graduate School in Development Economics, a summer school that provides flexible, advanced and accelerated training in the understanding and promotion of economic development.
The program offers three distinct courses, each providing a 5-day session of intensive training and using various approaches – including lectures, case studies, simulations, etc. Participants may choose to register to either one, two or all three courses. Lectures and training material will be provided in English, but participants’ oral communications and written assignments can be done in either French or English.
The three courses will be held in June and cover Development Policy Modelling, Understanding the Macro-Micro Linkages of Policy and Development, and Dynamic Impacts of Macroeconomic Policies and Shocks. Upon completion of each of these courses, participants will receive a certificate of continued education from Université Laval. Under certain conditions, the courses can also be credited towards completion of a University degree program.
This third edition of the PEP-Laval intensive graduate school in development economics will be held at Université Laval in Quebec City, Canada. For more details and how to apply please visit the PEP website.
