The US launch of OPHI’s book on Multidimensional Poverty Measurement & Analysis is taking place at the Human Development and Capability Association (HDCA) conference on Sunday 13 September 2015.

Registration for the HDCA conference 2015 is now closed but participants at the conference, as well as faculty and students of Georgetown University, are invited to attend OPHI’s book launch, taking place in one of the conference’s concurrent sessions.

The event will be held in the Copley Formal Lounge, Georgetown University, Washington D. C. from 2pm-3.15pm on 13 September.

Multidimensional Poverty Measurement & Analysis – by Sabina Alkire, James Foster, Suman Seth, Maria Emma Santos, Paola Ballon and Jose Manuel Roche – was published in the UK by Oxford University Press in June 2015. It provides an in-depth account of multidimensional poverty comparison methodologies, with a particular focus on the Alkire-Foster Method. Visit the book website for further information, including electronic chapters and study and teaching resources.
