OPHI will teach a new short course on multidimensional poverty on 6-17 December 2010 in Santiago, Chile. The new short course will be taught in Spanish to development practitioners from across Latin America. It is being organised in collaboration with the Chilean Ministry of Planning, UN Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean and Chilean Foundation for Overcoming Poverty.
This course is part of the Programme to Support Social Cohesion EU-Chile implemented by various public institutions to promote policies that help overcome inequality and promoting social dialogue. In its first phase, the programme has funding of 20.5 million euros, provided equally by the European Union and the Government of Chile, under the coordination of the International Cooperation Agency of Chile (ACGI).
