This webinar from the Multidimensional Poverty Peer Network features two presentations. Sabina Alkire and Monica Pinilla from OPHI introduce the Multidimensional Vulnerability Index (MVI) which can identify those most vulnerable to contracting COVID-19 to protect and focus the emergency response on the poor and newly poor. Juan Daniel Oviedo, Director of the National Statistics Office of Colombia (DANE) presents the experience of Colombia in using MPI alongside other data to identify the households which might be the most vulnerable to the shocks of the COVID-19 emergency.
