Maja Jakobsen is a Research Assistant at the Oxford Poverty & Human Development Initiative (OPHI). Her work is primarily within multidimensional poverty measurement and the computation of the Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI). She has a passionate interest in development and poverty issues within the area of economics. This was the reason she chose to supplement her MSc in Economics at the University of Copenhagen with an MSc in development economics at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London.
