Biography

Adriana Conconi is the Senior Advisor at the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI). She holds a Master in Public Administration in International Development from Harvard University, as well as M.A. and B.A. degrees in Economics from the Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP), Argentina.

Adriana has been working with OPHI since 2011, and led the Global MPI computations in 2013 and 2014. Between 2015 and 2019, she was the Director of Policy and Outreach and then Executive Director, leading our collaborations with national governments and international agencies on multidimensional poverty measurement and analysis. Prior to joining OPHI, she was a Researcher at the Centro de Estudios Distributivos, Laborales y Sociales (CEDLAS) at the UNLP, and a Lecturer in graduate and post-graduate courses at UNLP and Universidad de San Andres (Argentina). She has also been a consultant on several projects for the World Bank, UNDP, UNICEF, IADB, and other agencies and governments.
