Ross is a Research Officer at the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI). The position supports governments, international agencies and others who are developing multidimensional poverty measures.

Ross has a Master’s degree in Public and Development Management and is currently a PhD Candidate at the University of the Witwatersrand, exploring the intersection between poverty and civic engagement. He has worked in the applied social research environment for over 25 years across civil society, the private sector and the public sector.
