OPHI Research in Progress

This background paper, prepared for the 2009 Human Development Report in Latin America and the Caribbean, is the first effort to measure agency in the capital cities of three Latin American countries and explores the role of parents’ agency in reducing intergenerational transmission of ‘low outcomes’.
