Open consultation for the revised Global MPI

Early in 2018, the United Nations Development Programme’s Human Development Report Office (HDRO) and the Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI) agreed to adjust and unify their methodologies on poverty measurement and consider indicator improvements.

HDRO and OPHI will calculate a joint revised Global Multidimensional Poverty Index (Global MPI), to be launched in September 2018.

We are seeking input to improve some of the indicators, so that we can benefit from the data improvements that have taken place since 2010 and use the revised Global MPI to better monitor the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

If you would like to contribute to improve the indicators, please fill in this survey.
